For those who hadn't heard Hector Hernandez of the 8600 block of Flower Ave was arrested last night as the shooter in the Rideon Bus homicide.
Also our Homicide Section has allowed the release of the news that the suspects in the Jenny's Variety store robbery/homicide have been in custody for awhile on other charges in another Maryland jurisdiction. They are expected to be charged locally and federally with our case.
A great deal of the success (for apprehending the suspect) goes to the many different agencies' patrol officers, detectives, crime scene techs, civilian support staff, csafe, weed and seed and other partnerships with the community.
Additionally the help and support of witnesses and other citizens providing info and patience in allowing the case to be thoroughly investigated has been greatly appreciated.
